The DYN UNI is a fully balanced, passive dynamic contact microphone that is suitable for use on a variety of instruments. It does not include an active preamp and therefore requires no phantom power. The microphone can be safely applied to even the most valuable of instruments using the special adhesive putty provided. It can also be quickly transferred between instruments during performances or recording sessions. Once in place, the microphone’s lightweight design makes it unobtrusive to the performer.

The DYN UNI’s balanced XLR connector enables direct connection to a microphone input on a mixing console, or a full range amplification system. The torsion-resistant, Kevlar-reinforced cable is designed to withstand the rigors of daily use while delivering best possible performance results. This microphone features passive filtering technology, enabling it to be successfully used with a range of different instruments.
