The DYN OUD P48 is an electrodynamic, active, fully balanced contact microphone for OUD. The set includes a padded case, a special adhesive putty, and a cable clip.

 The DYN OUD P48 contact microphone for the OUD has been meticulously designed for professional applications, offering exceptional sound quality in live performances, amplified settings, and studio environments. The project originated from a collaboration with renowned musician Amine Mraihi and Elia Khoury, a well-known musician and OUD maker. With its robust structure and specially modified active filter to enhance the instrument's characteristics, this high-end transducer perfectly reproduces the natural sound of the instrument.

 The DYN OUD P48 can be quickly transferred between instruments during performances or recording sessions. Once in place, its lightweight design makes it unobtrusive for the musician.

 A balanced XLR connector allows direct connection to a microphone input on a mixing console, or to a full-range PA system. (Note: These contact microphones require 22 to 48 VDC phantom power.) The torsion-resistant, Kevlar-reinforced cable is designed to withstand the rigors of everyday use while providing the best possible performance results.

 The SCHERTLER DYN P48 series microphones all feature built-in Class-A preamplifiers and advanced filtering technology that enables each microphone to capture the best tonal qualities of the intended instrument.
